Duties include co-ordination to ensure contractual requirements are complied with, general commercial management of Company business & subcontractors, liaison and co-ordination to ensure financial reporting is timely and accurate, preparation of budgets, take-offs & tenders including estimating etc, ensuring Company Procedures are implemented and provide feedback on suitability/ content of Procedure, liaison to ensure that all contractual requirements are complied with, including preparation of valuations, variations, cash flows, subcontract agreements & accounts, Extension of Time, claims & submissions, Final Accounts etc.Candidates must be professionally qualified Commercial Managers with a good commercial management background on civil/building projects with major contractors. Duties include the translation of technical and engineering requirements into efficient and cost effective construction techniques, direct supervision of all civil construction works, control, motivation and direct supervision of local labour and staff, control and monitoring of all civils materials, control of related construction equipment to ensure the most efficient and cost effective utilisation, contribution to the production of the project programme and subsequent monitoring and review of progress against programme. Candidates must have a City & Guilds in either a civil/carpentry discipline and come from a trades background. Role:

Principal Duties:
1. Provision of first point engineering support for the workshop team.2. Assisting after sales with customising parts and design problems.3. Assisting workshop QC inspector with resolution of Non conformances.4. Assist in production of technical investigations and reports.5. Undertake design reviews on new designs.6. Creation of bill of materials, part numbers and detail drawings7. Production of Design Reports, assembly and test procedures, User Manuals and test Reports.8. Give Technical backup to Internal and External Customers.
Skills:
1. Experience in mechanical design and general engineering background.2. Stress / analysis / working knowledge of API 6A & API 17D.3. Experience in AutoCAD.4. Experience with desk software - Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Project.5. Communication Skills - Written and Verbal.6. Make presentation of the company products and specifications to internal and external customers.
Experience and Qualifications:1. 3 to 5 years design experience.2. Degree/HNC qualified in mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent.3.
